Eco-Friendly Art in Japan

Monami Ohno is a 29-year old Japanese artist who recycles cardboard to create sculptures inspired by popular culture — anime robots, military tanks and artillery, Godzilla, etc.
The intricacy and details of her sculptures have gained worldwide popularity.

Although she says her artwork has no underlying environmental message,
she is encouraged when people looking at her work become more environmentally conscious and discover creative ways to recycle.

Kudos to Monami Ohno for being original and turning recycling into a profitable hobby and career.

BE THE CHANGE. GO GREEN.
